The Model H08-15530 is Hayes' lowest-cost 56K modem. It is designed for use in Windows based systems with a minimum of a 266 MHz processor. The Model H08-15530 is a host-based modem, which uses the Central Processing Unit (CPU) of the computer in which the modem is installed to perform controller and data pump functions. The Hayes Accura H08-15530 PCI Soft Modem is fully compatibile with all features of the latest V.92/V.44 international standards and will also communicate at V.90 and slower speeds.
